I have bought this propolis-astragalus-ecchinacea-slipely elm bar spray because of the ingredients strong antimicrobial and antiviral activity, as well its immune boosting properties. This spray from Eclectic Institute is primarily designed for children, but the sweet taste of propolis comes with bitter aftertaste from some of the herbs, which makes me question wether children will actually enjoy using this spray. Children' taste buds are usually more averse to bitter tasting substances than adults'. One possibility is to combine this immune boosting spray with 'Beekeeper's Naturals, Kids, Propolis Throat Spray' (available here in iherb), which is sweet in taste, to lessen the bitterness. This spray does its job and helps with soar throats.

I love the idea of this recipe. It has amazing ingredients. Great for immune function and colds etc. I love the company culture of the makers of this. However, it definitely tastes like propolis. It has a distinct strong medicinal taste. I like the taste and take it neat. The kids not so much! I sprayed a few sprays in a small amount of juice and they took with no problems!
